Regina C. Gaudette’s passion for architectural wood finishes and historic preservation is evident in all her work, whether hand-rubbed oil finishes, veneer and inlay repairs, structural repair, grain painting, or restoration carvings. With over 30 years’ of experience for historic properties, museums, and private homes, her work has varied from architectural elements such as fireplace mantels and antique wood beams to curved banisters, musical instruments, picture frames, yachts, a Rolls Royce interior, and pipe organs. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in comparative literature, preservation apprenticeships with Arthur Thomas at Irving & Casson-A.H. Davenport Company and William Dowd Harpsichords, Regina brings an exceptional level of attention, detail, and careful consideration to her practice.
